We are not Nike's top choice for elite basketball prospects, though. We are, however, an acceptable compromise for the shoe companies because no one in the program or associated with it pushes players to any particular shoe company. They don't have to worry about losing one of their investments. TJ came in as an Addidas guy and left as one. Durant stayed with Nike. We are a Nike school in that our teams wear Nike jerseys.
