Wow. I never thought I’d see the day I’d see so much complaining by fans of the winning team. Oh wait, I forgot, we’re Texas.

Can we maybe just keep reminding ourselves that this team has now 9 of the last 10 games and the only loss in that span was a game in which the other team shot 30 more free throws?

Speaking of which hearing anyone complain about how oklahoma state got “jobbed” by the refs while on the road, considering the absolute felonies that have occured in their building, is hilarious. Ever hear of Karma? Justice? The righteous and calculating hand of God? Anyone?

Home cooking happens. OSU, a guard oriented team shot 40 free throws vs. Baylor and 33 Ft’s at home against Nebraska. These road opponents shot 18 and 14 respectively. Ask Texas about home cooking. Tech shot 43 foul shots to Texas’ 13 in their win.

It happens, OSU had chances to win and simply couldn’t throw it in the ocean. They shot 34% from the field and lost in Austin. Big deal.

I think there needs to be no complaining whatsoever. The refs gave you this game. There were no less than 6 blatantly missed foul calls, and probably more. If the refs call this game right, you’re talking about a tragic home upset loss to an overmatched OSU team.

The point about resting the starters is spot-on, though. That’s a dead tired team. Heck, if you had to play anyone on the road in the next 3 days, I’d pick Texas to lose on sheer exhaustion alone. To me, that’s the only reason UT needed so much home cooking to win. Barnes could’ve made all sorts of adjustments, but I see no reason to believe his team had the energy to execute them with any success.
