I actually sat court-side for the UCLA @ Stanford game earlier this season and in that game, Love was a force. He owned both Lopez boys. It was the sort of game that was never out of reach looking at the scoreboard but you just sort of knew UCLA outclassed them.

I’m a big fan of Russell Westbrook. He’s a more talented Justin Mason. Glue guy who can also get in the lane, hit a jumper, and sky for an ‘oop. The play where Love fed him from the top of the key was awesome. The UCLA defense in the last five minutes was absurd. Swarming. Quick hands.

This Stanford team is so much better this year because the Lopez boys are better and Mitch Johnson isn’t a turnover machine. His game has improved dramatically. You also have to love Taj “Son of Leonard Nimoy” Finger.

Anyway, I felt bad for Trent Johnson. Great game though.
