Pretty good stuff considering what was predicted, the fact that beat the # 1 team in the land and the putative # 4 squad IN THEIR HOUSE.
While the difference between # 4 and # 5 is not really that big of a deal, I think the Horns have a more than legitimate claim that they are # 4.

Hopefully we had a better final ranking in 03. We should have been three since Marquette lost by about 40 to KU in the other Final Four game.

I stand corrected - second highest ranking. The 2003 team was ranked #3.
Texas has now been ranked in the top ten in four of the last six seasons:
2003 - #3
2004 - #10
2006 - #9
2007 - #5
