Check out the big brain on D.J.

Augustin named to ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America First Team.

This is a real accomplishment. You can tell because the other first-teamers all play for Universities that many people have never heard of.

Congrats DJ.

That’s a great accomplishment. Congrats, DJ.

Not to be picky, but shouldn’t that be “check out the big brain on DJ”?

At least, if it’s a PF reference, it should be.

    Great accomplishment.

And kudos to Dr. Randa Ryan. She is fantastic at her job.

Jeff - Edited. You are right on the money and that was such an egregious screw up on my part that I have banned myself from any further posts for a while.

It is wonderful that Augustin made academic All America. He maintains a 3.64 GPA as an education major. It makes one wonder how the degree of difficulty of particular academic programs for the various candidates are compared. For example, which is more impressive, a 3.64 in education or a 2.64 in science or engineering? Does the quality of the school enter into the computation?
