For those of you who read Hookem.com you may already know this but for those of you who don't, Jeff Howe and his family were dealt some tough news of late.
Jeff's dad was diagnosed with cancer. You can read Jeff's personal note here.
I've gotten to know Jeff a tad in the last few years and he's a great guy.
The key thing is:
...we'll be having a benefit BBQ, auction and live music event on Sunday, June 12 from 1-5 p.m. at the Rattlesnake Inn in Florence (located roughly halfway between Georgetown and Florence on Texas 195).
