Texas Longhorns STORM into latest BCS Poll

Reunited and it feels so good.

Kevin C. Cox

Well, well, well...

Looks like we may have to pass on Nick Saban. I mean, golly, we already do that atrocious special teams thing, PAWWWWLLLLL. Let Miss Terry's realtor know.

The mothership covered pretty much every angle of what must be THE GREATEST IRON BOWL OF ALL TIME. Seriously, check out that link.

I love college football.

One thing troubles me though - that part where the writer says:

Alabama won't three-peat.

Have we learned nothing? Do not taunt Unhappy Fun Saban. Remember when Johnny Football went into Tuscaloosa and beat the Tide back and slept with their QB's honey and everybody declared there was no way Bama'd get a chance to repeat? Or that time LSU beat Bama in Bama's own stadium, yet Bama got a rematch?  How'd those work out for you? Pretty sure there are bigger and darker forces at work than we can comprehend.

So, BCS. Alabama TUMBLED all the way down to #4 in the latest rankings. Could Sparty beat Urb and the Buckeyes? Could Gary Pinkel (middle name: Robin) take down a flat team that just won their intrastate Super Bowl in the SEC CG? Could FSU get beaten by Duke? Coach K loves the post season. Could Mike Slive get his clammy hands in the Rube Goldberg workings of the BCS and hammer all of  them for 'strength of schedule'? All I'm saying, is I'm pretty sure the BCS Championship Game will be a rematch of Bama and Auburn because SEC.

T shirts this week: Free Jameis and dot the script i.

Leaders, Legends and #goacc - a nation turns its lonely eyes to you.

Back to the Texas Longhorns who are just a few spots behind the Crimson Tide in the latest BCS poll. Go ahead and scroll down for the rankings and you'll see us there. I'll give you a second. A little more... Little more... There we are - right next to our friends from the town near Gibbons Creek Reservoir. Sure, we're one spot behind them but really it's an honor to be so close to a program during its Renaissance/Golden Era. How many Aggies do you know that would have guessed they'd beat us to four losses? Wow, the Republic Of Texas is REALLY underachieving. Cripes. Sweep the leg, Steve.

Amen, coach. I know many Aggies will agree. I mean they had to play in the SEC so those losses should count as a half.

Here's the poll.
