Former USC RB coach Tommie Robinson will join Charlie Strong's staff in Austin, per Bruce Feldman

Robinson offers the Texas staff some SoCal familiarity (finally) to go along with a coaching background that covers the NFL (Arizona Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys) and several recruiting hotbeds in the South like Memphis, Atlanta (G Tech), and Miami. Robinson has also coached WRs and TEs and was USC's passing game coordinator.
A well-rounded hire with an impressive resume who will help to bring a national focus to Texas recruiting and can contribute in game planning.

Chris Vaughn wasn't on my radar:

Chris Vaughn came from Memphis but spent most of his coaching career under Houston Nutt at Arkansas and Ole Miss, where he coached safeties, cornerbacks, linebackers and was the recruiting coordinator. Needless to say, he should know the Southeast and East Texas recruiting trails well. Young recruiter who relates well to players box checked.
Our staff composition is interesting so far. Given Vance Bedford, Charlie Strong, and Chris Vaughn on staff, expect our DBs to be given more attention than they've ever experienced in their lives.
