Texas Longhorns starting point guard Isaiah Taylor has been ruled out for tonight's game against the California Golden Bears, as first reported by the Longhorn Network. Expect Javan Felix to get the start, with Kendal Yancy getting more time as the backup ballhandler. Demarcus Holland may also get some run at lead guard.

More concerning is the likelihood that Taylor will be out several weeks. There's a possibility that Taylor doesn't return until conference play, which stinks as Texas' two biggest non-conference games are still to come. The Longhorns play Connecticut on November 30 and Kentucky on December 5.
