Hammad was a well-regarded redshirt freshman recruit that many thought would excel under Wickline's tutelage, but he found himself mostly running with the 3rd team OL in summer practice. Texas has reasonable depth at OG and his departure from the program shouldn't hinder Longhorn efforts on the interior.
