The word on the street is that things aren't trending very well for the good guys with respect to snatching up all of the big names late. Specifically, Soso Jamabo, Daylon Mack, Damarkus Lodge and Kai Locksley (committed to Texas as I wrote this - HA!)
Right now, our realistic goal may be to secure the class that has already committed, get Chris Warren, sway some contingency plans that fill needs that we've offered in the last day or two and hope for the best. Still a very good class, but not the late Top 3 national rankings run Texas fans hoped to make.
Hopefully, all the bad vibes are just unfounded paranoia, but there's a lot of smoke out there.
