Longhorn fans can make plans for coming to Austin for half of the home games for the upcoming season as UT announced kick-off time for three contests.

The season opener at South Bend against Notre Dame had already been announced as a Sept. 5, 6:30 pm kick off on NBC.

Now three home games are also set for night starting times. The home opener against Rice will be on the Longhorn Network on Sept. 12th starting at 7:00 pm. Cal will visit the next week, with a 6:30 pm start schedule for FOX.

The Horns will continue the tradition of playing on Thanksgiving before a dwindling TV audience as Texas Tech visits for a 6:30 start on Fox Sports1.

The times for the other home games against Oklahoma State (Sept. 26), Kansas State (Oct. 24), and Kansas (Nov.11) will be determined 6-12 days out of those dates.
