Quick observations:

1.  TCU and Baylor garnered every first place vote.

2.  Texas Tech is picked 8th despite returning 17 starters and 2 experienced QBs.  2015 is Kingsbury referendum year.

3.  On paper, Kansas State should go 4-8.  Somehow they probably won't.

4. Texas plays the preseason conference top two on the road, the preseason #3 at a neutral site.

5.  Oklahoma State should get back on track after 2014's setback.  Despite the preseason hype for our early match-ups with Notre Dame & TCU, our early home contest with the Cowboys will set the floor for the entire Longhorn season.
