Longhorn RS Freshman WR Kai Locksley Will Transfer

The redshirt freshman QB turned wide receiver will seek greener pastures.  Locksley didn't have a clear path to immediate playing time in a crowded Longhorn WR field (Johnson, Burt, Leonard, Duvernay, Heard) and it's clear that his future will be brighter in a situation better suited to his talents.

Locksley was a coveted recruit, but my recruiting write-up on Locksley in 2015 counseled Horn fans to pump the brakes.

In short, this shouldn't be a surprise for anyone.
