An important piece added to the puzzle. We spend so much time focused on offense and defense, that we forget at least two games in 2017 will be decided by the kicking game. And Texas can use all of the help it can get.
Domingue is a grad student transfer and former walk-on for the LSU Tigers who won their kicking job in the last part of 2014 and then had a successful 2015 campaign, going 13 of 17 (including a streak of 10 in a row). He was also 49 of 50 on extra points. He's not going to be confused with Justin Tucker, but he's fairly accurate over manageable distances. He can also punt in a pinch.
Domingue transferred when Les Miles didn't renew his scholarship, opting for Colby Delahoussaye, who Domingue beat out earlier in his career.
