The Longhorns have an offer out to Baylor commit Craig Williams. The slightly built running back and potential slot receiver is one of the fastest high school players in the country, recording a 10.23 100 meters as a junior and clocking in at a verified sub 4.4 40. He’s only 5-9, 165 pounds, but adding size and strength to the genetically gifted isn’t much of a challenge.
Williams may be insurance against losing current commitment Rondale Moore (who is infatuated with Jeff Brohm at Purdue) but I think he’s an offer on his own merits. He averaged over 10 yards per carry as a senior and 24-7 considers him a Top 50 in state recruit.
