Dickson and Elliott are first teamers, Malik Jefferson garnered second team honors.
Jefferson was also the Big 12 Co-Defensive POY and finished with 110 tackles and four sacks playing both Rover and Mike LB. He finally lived up to his massive athletic potential. Credit legitimate S&C, Todd Orlando and Jefferson’s own natural progression as an athlete. He’s a good dude who works hard. He’ll be sorely missed.
Elliott stuffed the stat sheet like no other Longhorn with six interception, three forced fumbles and two pick sixes. The physical junior would have benefitted from another year in Austin, but I wish him the best in the NFL draft.
Dickson doesn’t need much shine here. He’s the best punter I’ve ever seen at Texas.
Congrats to all.
