Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo set to retire

Will land in a CBS TV booth replacing Phil Simms

NBA: New York Knicks at Dallas Mavericks Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Well, there it is. Star-crossed Cowboys QB, Tony Romo, is gonna hang up his spurs.

Personally always liked the guy and was really bummed that it wasn’t a catch. I felt it was a catch. In my backyard in Dallas growing up that was a catch. Heck, we used to spend hours recreating the Butch Johnson ‘catch’.

If Dez holds on, does Romo get a whole new legacy as a man who was “finally” clutch?

His press conference about losing the job this season was great.

Also, if you missed this quick hitter from our buddy Bryan Curtis, check it out.

What say you? Good riddance? Tragic figure? Overrated? Underrated?
