Earth, wind, fire, water, Texas Longhorns basketball. Those are the five elements mentioned in the Luc Besson classic starring Bruce Willis, Chris Tucker, and a woman made out of an alien hand. At least, that’s what I think they said; as far as I’m concerned Texas basketball is the only thing that could convince Alien Hand Lady to love Bruce Willis. It’s probably worth noting I watched the movie with the TV on mute.
We talk about the offense, Matt Coleman, the defense, Mo Bamba, the newcomers, Matt Coleman, the schedule, Mo Bamba, the Big 12 Conference, Matt Coleman, and have a chapter about why the NBA draft is going to ruin everything you love (Mo Bamba). Alright, that’s an exaggeration, but there is a chapter on how the draft impacts recruiting. Also, there are a lot of Game of Thrones jokes. So, so many GoT jokes. We might also spend a little time pretending Andrew Jones and Kerwin Roach are a single person. I don’t know if that means they have four arms and legs like some sort of basketball Vishnu or if maybe I just need to lay off the peyote for awhile. It could be both.
The publish date is still a bit fungible as we’re nailing down the final pieces of the publishing process, but expect the book to come out on Amazon & iTunes in late October. Price will be the same as last year, $4.99. With inflation, we’re actually losing buying power. I HOPE YOU APPRECIATE OUR SACRIFICE.
We back, bitches.
