I’ll always take a win in Ames on Thursday night, even if the Texas offense was nails on a chalkboard. I’d recommend Tim Beck go back to the drawing board, but I’m not a finger painting enthusiast.

On the other hand, the Texas defense played great football for four quarters, holding the Cyclones to a single score and 3 of 14 (21%) on 3rd and 4th down conversions.

And Josh Rowland hit a 49 yard field goal!
