Celebration Thread: Texas - 56, San Jose State - 0

Yes, San Jose State is a bad football team, but we actually looked like a football team, a true freshman QB played very solid ball and we game planned to run the ball with a lot more creativity (nod to Jerrod Heard), even going so far as to put the ball in our best RB’s hands. 16-166-2 for Warren.

On defense, we took apart the JV version of the spread offense we’ll see most weeks in the Big 12 and got the shutout. We also got some encouraging snaps from Gary Johnson. Holton Hill got another Pick 6.

Wins are a lot better than losses.
