A few quick observations:

  • Here’s the full roster of signees
  • 11 of 21 signees are from out of state, the largest percentage in Texas football recruiting history
  • The Longhorns class currently sits at a consensus #9 in the country on 24-7. Expect the Horns to add 4-7 more recruits depending on how things go down the stretch
  • The clear class strength is at LB (the Horns took 4) and random blue chip skill players at QB, TE, WR
  • The DL class is full of interesting developmental types that project well. I love Sweat and Warren particularly
  • The glaring weaknesses are at OL (1 signee currently) and RB (1 signee currently). There’s a still a chance to make up ground for NSD2 and in the grad transfer market, but it’s going to require some doing
