Texas hires Mike White to coach softball

Over nine seasons at Oregon, White went 435-111-1, with his most recent team entering the College World Series.

I don’t know much about softball, but if we choose to play a sport and T-E-X-A-S is written on the jersey, it should embrace a standard of excellence.

Here’s hoping White can restore that standard.
