Kody Clemens Named ABCA Coach’s Co- Player of the Year

Texas fans

Well deserved. That the coaches (OK, well the SIDs) voted for him as the best player in the country certainly counts for something.

Clemens finished the year .351 BA/.444 OB/.726 SLG along with 24 home runs (second in Longhorn history in a single season).

The third round selection will be sorely missed and he’s a testament to hard work and break through improvement - last year Clemens hit .241 with a .356 slugging percentage and 5 home runs.

Hard to argue that he’s not the most improved Longhorn baseball player in history.
