Texas Baseball Super Regional Opponent decided today at 6pm CST

Tennesse Tech and Ole Miss play an elimination game tonight after Tech crushed them 15-5 this afternoon.

If you’re not familiar with Tennessee Tech - and I wasn’t until a few hours ago - they’re an incredibly entertaining team that have hit 133 home runs in only 61 games. Probably why they’re 51-10. Say what you will about stadium size or opponent quality but they’re knocking out car windows wherever they travel and they’ve beaten an array of SEC and Big 12 opponents this year.

Tech isn’t long on pitching, so expect a lively ball game tonight.

Ole Miss hosts them at 6pm on ESPNU. If Ole Miss wins, they host Texas in Oxford. If Tennessee Tech wins, they’ll be coming to Austin.
