Tom Herman and crew landed another verbal from out West in California safety Chris Adimora. Adimora is one of my favorite prospects from the 2019 class. He brings the hate in run support, has really nice instincts for the ball on the back end and plays extremely hard. No too-cool-for-school in his game.
More broadly, as I’ve argued for over a decade, the most obvious place to grab elite talent with minimal competition is California and a handful of other Western city outposts (Vegas, Phoenix, Denver) where prospects yearn for the feel of big-time football while still maintaining the cultural familiarity of a fun city.
Apparently, this Texas staff agrees.
