If you want to understand the very real science of Numerology in Football, a subject matter in which I’m an expert, possibly the foremost in the world, I wrote this piece of Gospel some time ago.
Some quick thoughts:
Moro Ojomo and Keondre Coburn picking 90’s numbers is very important. Any DL who chooses a single digit won’t play the run. FACT. That they picked two of the best 90s numbers is gruntling. Ojomo was born to be a #98.
Could not be more proud of the OL number choices. Solid. A #70, #74, #75, #76 and a #66. Obviously, anyone who chooses #68, #73, or #71 willingly on the OL is conveying scrubitude. Angilau’s choice of #75 is solid as Pacific Islanders must be conscious of choosing numbers that slim their calves.
Jamison and Green picked correct DB numbers for corner and nickel back. Yes.
Daniel Carson will try to pull off the tall guy DE 80s number - #88. I admire the pluck, but your name isn’t Apostle Mogonnoboya, is it, Daniel? Cedric Reed is the only to pull this off in recent memory.
Byron Vaughns concerns me with #50. He’s a willowy, jumpy OLB. If he’s going to go with a 50s number, it needs to be #55 or #56. However, it does demonstrate a certain lunch-pail approach. A similar approach embodied by Ossai choosing #46.
Ingram choosing #26 - clear Le’Veon Bell branding - is a good sign. He will now catch balls even better.
Obviously, if you have any Numerology questions below, I will answer them.
