Chris Del Conte’s fan project: The new Longhorn Gameday experience

The Texas sports website is currently showing all of the cumulative changes that Chris Del Conte and crew have implemented to improve Longhorn game day. More tailgating atmosphere and a pre-game street party with Bevo Blvd, better transportation options, pre-game partying and live music to encourage early arrival with Longhorn City Limits on the LBJ lawn, better concessions pricing, and less commercialism inside the stadium with fewer jetpack men, Taco Bell gongs, weather reports and less denigration of a fun college football environment.

Longhorn fans may actually start to feel like supporters of the school again and not just walking wallets and marks being targeted cynically throughout game day.
