As voted by their teammates:
Andrew Beck. A fifth year TE with 16 career starts. Missed all of last season due to injury.
Chris Nelson. The big senior already has his degree. He has 15 career starts and will replace Poona Ford, the Big 12 DL of the Year.
Breckyn Hager. The fourth year DL philosophy major, Cindy Brady crossed with a wolverine and Socrates, is poised for a breakout season and is the most gifted pass rusher on the team.
Elijah Rodriguez. The fifth year senior has already graduated. Selfless player who can play all of the OL positions.
Anthony Wheeler. The fourth year linebacker has totaled 17 career starts. Everyone is hoping that the inconsistent performer has matured into a breakout senior.
Congratulations to all five. Let’s hope they can lead Texas back to prominence.
