It turns out that the 2019 class wasn’t quite done. The Longhorns offered the Iowa Western JUCO in February and Tyler will enroll after his freshman JUCO season - freeing him of normal national signing day timelines and giving him 4 years to play 3.
Tyler is a huge prospect (6-7, 330) and late bloomer who will need some time to adjust to FBS play speed, but it’s clear that the Horns liked some things about the big youngster. Put him in the developmental stew and see what happens after two years on simmer.
