The highly regarded defensive whiz assistant was instrumental in Michigan’s success and now he’ll try to right Shaka Smart’s ship at Texas. The Wolverines were 63-15 in his two years there coordinating John Beilien’s defense, a span which included a national title game appearance.
He worked his way up the ranks from high school and small time college basketball and has garnered quite a reputation as a pure teacher. Let’s hope he can provide a spark.
