2020 Texas Football Recruiting: Longhorns land DL Van Fillinger

The Horns add #10 in the 2020 class

Boom. Just like that the Longhorns have the makings of promising 2020 defensive line class. Van Fillinger is a 6-4, 250 DL prospect who clocked a 4.25 short shuttle and a 32 inch vertical leap at the Opening in Oakland. The 16 year old is a physical high motor 3 star with offers from a litany of national programs. He projects to the 4i DE position. Don’t be surprised to see him play his football in the 280s.

With the addition of Fillinger, the Longhorns are at ten recruits in the 2020 class.

Looks like the Longhorns are looking to solidify some leans into commitments before the start of Fall camp.
