2020 Texas Football Recruiting: RB Ty Jordan commits to the Longhorns

The Longhorns landed their 19th pledge of the 2020 football recruiting class in RB Ty Jordan from West Mesquite. Jordan is a SprolesBack, going 5-7, 180 but he has legitimate speed (he has been clocked at a 10.52 100 meters and 4.5 40) and is a capable pass catcher and runner. His highlights show a nifty runner with the quickness to bypass the first free defender, but a lot of his tape is Jordan running through some really nice holes. Tough to get a sense of his skills beyond his quickness and a low base.

Jordan is the second RB pledge for the 2020 class and the three star’s commitment pushes the Horns to a #5 national ranking.
