...but the early news is good.

Zach Shackelford left the Rice game after having his ankle/foot rolled up.

Joseph Ossai left the Rice game in the 4th quarter with a shoulder injury.

Collin Johnson missed Rice entirely due to a hamstring tweak.

All three players are listed as probable against Oklahoma State. Shack will be held out of practice so he can mend, Ossai has a shoulder sprain and will wear a brace, and CJ is on track to be back.

Demarvion Overshown remains out. BJ Foster remains out.

RB Daniel Young was able to return and garner four carries against Rice. He should be good to go against Oklahoma State.

Good early news for the Longhorns for their Big 12 opener against a 3-0 Oklahoma State.
