Herman gives an injury update on the Big 12 teleconference:

DB Josh Thompson (foot) is out for a “significant” amount of time. CB Jalen Green is out four weeks after dislocating his shoulder on Saturday. S Caden Sterns will also be out four weeks.
Josh Thompson is done for the season.
Jalen Green and Caden Sterns will both miss through the Kansas game, at the absolute minimum. That obviously means no West Virginia, no Oklahoma. Sterns reportedly has a knee ligament strain. Green dislocated his shoulder making a hard tackle on Chuba Hubbard.
Promising freshman LB Marcus Tillman is done for the season.
What does this mean? Texas is down big in the secondary.
Jamison and Boyce are your starting cornerbacks until Green’s return. Anthony Cook won’t be back in the mix unless he turns around his slump.
BJ Foster and DeMarvion Overshown could return for West Virginia, which will be a tremendous help, but we’ll have to wait for updates.
Meanwhile, Montrell Estell and Chris Brown will get the start at safety, while Jones goes to nickel. Upon his return, BJ Foster will be the Joker when we go to dime. Be very thankful for Longhorn depth at safety. That’s still a good starting group.
As for cornerback, it’s time for Boyce and Jamison to grow up and for Orlando to follow the Oklahoma State game plan and not to hang them out to dry.
