Calvin Howell commits to Texas

Posted by HenryJames on May 14th, 2008 under Football, Recruiting

The San Antonio Warren DT committed to Texas today. Big get for Texas at a need position. Howell has offers from OU, LSU, Nebraska and Tennessee among others.

No game footage that we can steal (yet), but here is some grainy footage of “MY NIGGA CALVIN AKA “BIG C” BREAKS SCHOOL RECORD 405LBS WHICH WAS PREVIOUSLY HELD BY JARED ELLIS AKA “BEAR” WHICH HE DID LAST YEAR LIFT-A-THON TOO KRUNK HOL ON.”

Just watch the video, caucasians.

Ouch. I really hope Maddog can teach him proper form and technique on the bench when he gets here. That’s a really good way to blow out your back.

    Do people still say crunk?

  6. The extra consonant in the word “HOLD” was simply too much for him to type.

  14. Oh no you dinton, aggy.

If that guy is white I’m going to write in Karl Malone and Bryant Gumbel for every elected office in America.

With 4 games to go (unless you are an ISU or KSU–they have 3 games left) the division is wide open. All 6 teams still have a chance to win the North but only two teams–Kansas State and Nebraska–control their own destiny.

While 4 games might not seem like that many, when you put it all together

Futures are definitely something I’d like to look at. All lines are entered manually so it’s either up to me to notice a line that I’m interested in posting or else I will take suggestions.

The sportsbook is also hiring people that are interested in being bookies. Posting bets, closing and adjusting lines, and

In a highly televised week for the league, the schedule goes…

    FSN 11 or 11:30 – Texas & Baylor

    Versus 11:30 – Missouri & K-State

    ABC 2:30 – NU @ KU

There’s a valid point here, but strategy can also be used to make a decent team play WAY over its head. Exhibit A: 2002 Oklahoma Sooners. This was NOT a great football team. The defense got punked by anyone who could throw over the top. Jason White was busy blowing out

We don’t need any help from the refs, and we didn’t get any help from the refs on Saturday. Comparing a couple of extremely marginal calls that could’ve gone either way to the atrocities that led to two straight undeserved wins for Florida is frankly idiotic, and does indeed make me wonder about
