Aside from the obvious "situation" playing out with our front office, from a strictly player/personnel and schematic standpoint, what changes do you want? Spread, I, Ace, Jumbo, Wishbone? 4-3, 3-4, Nickle, 4-6, 5-3? Vets vs. youngsters? Ash, McCoy, Brewer, Overstreet, Swoops? You've got the keys to the kingdom; what are you doing? Let's throw it all out there and tell each other how stupid (or genius) we all are.

I'll start.

Offense - multiple in formations but a base spread concept; I favor a 2 back, 0 TE formation with 2 WR and 1 "flanker" formation; 50/50 ideal run/pass ratio. QB - Ash. RB1 - Gray/Daje. RB2/FB - MB1/Berg. WR1 - Davis WR2 - Jones. Flanker/Slot - Shipley/Sanders. From this, my base concept is a zone read triple option package where RB2 (MB1 or Bergeron) is a dive option with the QB and RB1 running a DE-read pitch. Your slot can motion and create counter options or jet sweep options. Play action abounds.

Defense - i'm a 4-3 guy mostly because i think it's easy to understand. I think we have enough athletes to stay pretty base in this conference but can certainly sub in 5th DB as appropriate. Our DL depth is well documented and don't think we need to change much of our approach to our rotation. Schematically I'd like to see more stunting (sarcasm alert). LB: Sam - Hicks, Mike - Thompson/Edmond, Will - Jackson/Jenkins. I would like to see more of both Jackson AND Jenkins on the field but I think Hicks is better suited for the Sam than Mike and thus am relegated to simply subbing Jackson and Jenkins at the Will. I think Steve is still a LB but I'm inclined to start Kendall Thompson over him at this point despite the hype. DB: CB1 - Byndom, CB2 - Thomas, FS - Diggs, SS - Phillips. Nickle - Diggs comes down and Adrian Colbert is the FS.
