So Mike Stoops was just talking among friends on WWLS - "The Sports Animal" - in Oklahoma City, and he said he sure was impressed with Aggy QB Johnny Manziel. So much so, that Stoops believes he has a great future, if the Aggies can keep him out of jail.
Stoops was in an expansive mood on the radio.

But he didn't stop there.
M.Stoops' 2nd quote on Manziel: "If they can keep him off the Twitter, he might have 3-4 Heismans. He'll have that type of ability."#Aggies

Stoops was obviously alluding to Manziels summer run-in with the law over a fight outside a bar where he was carrying a couple of fake ID's. Manziel spent a few hours in the slammer. And since his Heisman win, the 20-year old freshman has lived the life of a rock star and has the pictures on twitter to prove it.
The entire quote was:
"Well, I'll tell you what Al, I've seen a lot of football players play a lot of different styles with guys, but never seen anything like that in my whole life. I mean, I've never felt as defenseless as we were the other night, that's for sure. If they can keep him out of jail or keep him eligible, he's gonna be pretty good. If they can keep him off the Twitter, he might win three or four Heismans. He'll have that type of ability."
Funny stuff - watching our two hated rivals spit at each other - except a D-1 coach has no business starting the dust up.
