No resolution on Mack Brown at Texas football banquet, Saban reportedly signs Alabama extension

Though at times the speakers before Brown offered the distinct feeling of attending a wake, and keynote speaker Don Evans struck a tone of reflection and celebration of Mack Brown's time at Texas, Mack Brown's brief comments did nothing to address his embattled status in what many thought would be a valedictory address.

It's confirmed that Brown did meet with Patterson and Powers today, with no word on resolution in that meeting.

Meanwhile, Nick Saban appears to have re-upped at Alabama and accepted their offer of an extension according to multiple reports.
