Texas Longhorns signee Eric Davis, a combo guard from Saginaw, MI, was named to the Jordan Brand Classic roster today. A member of the East Team, Davis will participate in the event, held on April 17 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Davis committed to Texas last September and signed his LOI in the Early Signing Period last November. He is currently ranked as 45th nationally by the 247 Composite Rankings.
Two Texans also made the Jordan Brand Classic rosters, despite the state not placing anyone in the McDonald's All-American Game. Tyler Davis, a center from Plano West, is committed to Texas A&M, and Austin Grandstaff, a shooting guard from Rockwall, is committed to Ohio State. Davis is the only player in the game representing a Big 12 school, although a number of uncommitted prospects are in play for Kansas.
Texas currently has two players signed in the 2015 class, Davis and fellow guard Kerwin Roach from Houston North Shore. The Longhorns are hosting swingman Kobe Eubanks, a post-grad shooting guard at Elev8 Sports Institute in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, on an official visit this weekend. Texas has also been reportedly looking for a big man to fill out the class.
