Shaka Smart is making changes in his coaching staff, parting ways with assistant coach David Cason. The move has not yet been made official, but is expected to be announced soon. Dustin McComas was the first to report it:

Cason was in charge of coaching the guards, so if anybody was going to get the ax as a result of this season it seems like Cason is the easiest target. He may not be the only assistant shuffling happening this off-season, but to my knowledge he’s the only one who wouldn’t be leaving voluntarily.
I’ll keep you posted if I hear anything about potential replacements.
