The Longhorns received their 12th commitment for the 2018 class from five star safety BJ Foster. The 6-1, 190 pound Angleton product is ranked #2 in the state in the consensus recruiting rankings and is considered a Top 25 national product overall.
BJ’s a complete safety: he shows a willingness to hit in the box and from depth, has range, demonstrates natural ball instincts and he’s skilled enough to do something with the ball in his hands.
The Longhorns are going to have a very special 2018 DB class. The overall class is still on trajectory for Top 5 nationally.
