I happened to catch Mangino’s radio show last night. Didn’t sound like he was going anywhere, but you know how these shows are. Someone wrote in with a question about starting Pick and other kids to prepare for next year since this year is lost. He was miffed, but kept his cool.

I don’t think they can officially fire him yet if they’re attempting to prove cause (I believe ’cause’ would save the University over $6 million). KU has to provide written notice to Mangino specifying the grounds for termination and provide him at least 21 days to respond to any allegations.
