The college sports world was all atwitter this morning with the breaking story that Mike Gundy was leaving his alma mater to take the Arkansas job -- or not.
Such is the new paradigm for reporting, and in college football that means trying to wade through all the rumors floating throughout social media and them going with your best guess.
First it was a done deal - Gundy was upset over his contract hassles last year and he has expressed the opinion that the SEC is ready for his style of offense.
No matter what, with the number of quality job openings throughout the BCS conferences, it's going to be a head spinning month of bowl games and coaching rumors to get us through 2012.
