The four year TE (and two time All Big 12 Academic Honoree) will leave with a UT degree. Nice job, MJ. McFarland concludes his Longhorn career with 19 catches for 178 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was highly recruited out of high school but never grew into a significant pass-catching threat and was never a strong in-line blocker. However, it looks like MJ put his time on campus to good use and leaves with a UT degree.
Expect several more transfers this Spring - I'd set the over/under at 5.
