The Big 12 had given every indication that expansion is not happening anytime soon, but the league Board of Directors  voted unanimously to brings back the Conference Championship Game in 2017.here is little chance of adding two new members in 15 months, so who knows exactly what will be the shape of the league by 2017.

Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby indicated that there might be two divisions. League members were told that adding the contest would add $27 or $28 million to the conference coffers.

The league also announced that each one of the 10 members will get a $30 million check as their share of conference revenues.
