Meyer was 82-9 at Ohio State over seven years and leaves with 3 national titles on his resume: two at Florida, one at Ohio State, and an undefeated season at Utah.
As at Florida, he leaves Columbus surrounded by scandal and citing health issues - but not his own missteps - as the reason for his departure. Of course, Meyer and his acolytes never seems to make the connection that his scandals are what seems to exacerbate his health problems.
He’ll be succeeded by Ohio State offensive coordinator Ryan Day.
Will we see Urban Meyer again in coaching? Or do we just get to endure his presence on various college football game day shows again holding forth sanctimoniously about other coach’s misdeeds?
