According to the Statesman's bovinely named Bevo Beat, backup QB Sherrod Harris injured his knee in practice Sunday night.
Doubtful that the paper found out from Mack Brown as releasing injury information on players only serves to break up families and help our opponents.
Harris was competing with John Chiles for the backup QB spot. The more time that Harris misses, the better Chiles' chances are of being the guy behind Colt McCoy. Whether or not that actually translates into meaningful playing time once the season starts is another matter entirely.
