Duane Akina watches film. Decides 'Casablanca' better than 'Gigli'

From today's Fort Worth Star-Telegram:

After elevating safety Ishie Oduegwu to the starting lineup against Nebraska, co-defensive coordinator Duane Akina hinted Monday that a similar promotion could be in store for linebacker Sergio Kindle.

Kindle, a sophomore, had a team-high eight tackles against Nebraska. In five games as the backup to Robert Killebrew, Kindle has three tackles for losses (TFL), three quarterback pressures and a pass breakup (PBU). In nine starts, Killebrew has no TFLs, no sacks, no interceptions, no forced fumbles, no fumble recoveries and no PBUs.

Akina called Kindle "an impact player" who has "shown up on the highlight reels" in recent weeks. Asked about the possibility of another lineup change against OSU, Akina said: "We'll probably make those decisions as the week unfolds."

'You're pretty much my favorite linebacker.'
