Jermichael Finley gone

When tight end Jermichael Finley decided to turn pro yesterday, Texas officially lost all of its offensive speed this offseason with the notable exception of John Chiles.

Imagine what our offense would have looked like this year without Limas Sweed, Jamal Charles and Finley. That's what we'll start with next year unless some of the young guys can step up.

We've got two possesion receivers in Quan Cosby and Jordan Shipley, a tight end who caught a pass last year and no home run threat on the roster at running back.

So unless something changes this offseason we'll be putting even more pressure on Colt McCoy to win games by himself.
